I waited 3 months to right a review so I can give my honest feedback with shipping, cost of food, and most of all how my cats would adjust to the food. Well they love it! The suggested amount giving to them 3 oz per day. I noticed that they wanted more. I figured it was just that good to them, but I noticed that they were actually needing more food. (One of my cat was losing weight) So I decided to give them more throughout the day. Well that works for them! I ended up having to adjust my monthly subscription which the price difference wasn't to bad. I will continue to order from Viva. As far as shipping, if it was sent out on Monday I did receieve my shippment the next day. The food was well packaged and still frozen. I am glad this worked out for us.
Company is great. They aren't the problem. My cats refuse to eat this food. Tried e erything they said to try. Apparently my cats prefer starving than eat this food. Have no idea why.
We have four amazing kitties at home, but 3 of them are extremely picky eaters. I was buying different foods/ different brands for each cat because they wouldn’t eat. For the first time ever, all 4 finally agree on food! So far we have tried Rabbit, Pork, and now duck. They go crazy for meal time! So far they are all loving it and eating every last bite. It makes me excited for food time since they are finally eating their food fully and enjoying it. I cannot wait to keep letting them try the variety of flavors to see which one they like the most. Crossed fingers this lasts with the picky eaters.
I’ve been feeding raw for years to a very picky eater. Hobbes has never been so excited about meal time. I love the transparency of the company and the meals are so healthy.
To say I have a picky labor doodle would be an understatement, but this is a absolute game changer. He absolutely devours it. I am so thankful. I have found this company and will be forever purchasing delicious fresh food for my beloved pet
Our dog loves his Viva and gobbles it right down. He is always excited about meal time now. Our new little foster fella has tried it as well and he is also joining the Clean Plate Club at meal times. Definitely a hit at our house.
I switched to Viva because I have two kitties with chicken allergies who need to be on single-protein diets. They were increasingly turning their tails up at the veterinary diet canned foods so I thought I’d give Viva a try. Both cats are liking the duck A LOT and their furs are looking much fluffier.
Walter and Rita just completed the sample delivery and are excited to continue with Viva. They absolutely love the food! Rita has always been picky about food but adjusted immediately and is enjoying the food.

I was told about this website by another ferret owner and they were right. I feed my ferrets your turkey, chicken, rabbit and duck. They love it so much, it’s so good for them and it doesn’t hurt my pockets. This is my second order!!!
The ingredients are just spectacular and the small packages are perfect for my two cats. My cats quickly got used to the new food as I started giving them half of their regular canned food and half of the Viva Raw. Now, I notice that they play so much more, have tons of zoomies, their coats are super shiny, and they're obsessed with the food. Side note: the package it came in was so sustainable, I was in awe!
My cat loves Viva! It was so easy to transition him to raw food, I guess because his obligate carnivore instinct kicked in. He was already a pretty high energy cat but Viva made him even more high energy. It also keeps him full for a longer.
Just tried Viva for the first time. I run a Maine coon Cattery and the kittens and the adults…. Every last bit gone.

I've had my Sphynx cats on raw food their entire lives - so many brands we have tried and nothing compares to viva- and the fact we have been customers for over a year now, and I never have to worry again that the pet store won't have their food in stock, because it is delivered, on time, still frozen to my door 🥹 the most relieving feeling..
my boys are immunocompromised and also allergic to chicken so they don't have the luxury of switching proteins- my one cat only eats beef because he's sensitive to nearly every other protein and the other, eats turkey and can also eat the beef. (He'll eat anything) they don't need baths as often on raw diets, their waste is healthy, and they also do not get sick *knock on wood* nearly ever, anymore, since being strictly on Viva. Thank you Viva team for all you do. It is greatly appreciated and life changing for someone who used to take multiple trips a week to the specialty pet store for raw food and at times driving an hour to a different store because the only protein they restocked that week was chicken. 😮💨💀 you've improved my quality of life - worth every penny.

As it turns out, more than one of my cats is allergic to beef. That is the only food we had no problem with. Your team was adept at explaining why. That was much appreciated as was the credit for the food they could not eat. It goes well as long as I mix it with some pate since the texture is coarser than they are used to.
Only 3 days in and both my cats love it..had to hide it under their food so they didn’t take right away..but now they go around the old food. I notice much more energy in them. Less sleeping. Definitely worth every penny..and peace of mind
I did a lot of research when choosing to switch my pups to raw. This is the best brand I came across! I have a senior dog who was becoming a picky eater but with Viva raw she’s excited for meal time again. I love the organic veggies and grass fed meat. My dogs are so happy with the switch!
We have three cats who have always been on high-quality canned food along with high-quality freeze-dried kibble, so we were honestly pretty hesitant about switching. We really wanted something even better for them, but had a lot of reservations.
After trying the sample pack, we were pleasantly surprised—our cats took to it way easier than we ever expected. We transitioned slowly over several weeks, mixing it in little by little, and they absolutely loved it.
We’ve now placed our first full order and are still combining it with canned food mainly for cost reasons, but our goal is to eventually go fully raw.
One thing I really love is the packaging—it makes portioning super easy and convenient. Also, the food doesn’t have that strong smell that canned food does, which is a huge plus. Even better, their litter box smells are noticeably reduced. Overall, everything has been a big improvement.
The only downside so far has been communication. I would have liked a shipment notification, as I didn’t receive one this time. Our package ended up sitting outside overnight, but thankfully the weather was cool and the dry ice and packaging were excellent, so everything stayed safe.
Overall, we’re really happy with the quality and how well our cats have adjusted!
Transitioning my 3 year old cat over and giving Viva to my 3 month old kitten and all is going so well so far! So grateful to have the ease of auto ship and a company that I can trust.
She loves this food! I have noticed that her fur is much softer and she seems much happier!
I purchased with the hope of helping my cat with his gut issues. He’s been throwing up a lot with some diarrhea, and so far I’m into the second protein now and I’ve already seen some improvement. I look forward to seeing if this food helps him heal. It’s still early, but so far so good! He loves it and is eating it regularly. Thank you!
