We make a chunky recipe so you guys can see exactly what's in our food: lean, quality cuts and never mushy, mechanically separated mystery meat. For some pets, chunks also provide dental benefits and enrichment from chewing. Watch to learn about our Chunked recipe.
Chunks not your thing? All recipes also come ground.

The best pre-made raw food!
My Aussie, Katsu, loves Viva Raw! We love the great ingredients and the fact that this company is very transparent on their sourcing. 10/10 recommend.
Impressed
I ordered the Complete variety pack as well as the Pure rabbit. My Chinese Crested is a picky boy and has turned his nose up at other raw brands but absolutely loves Viva Raw! We’ll be ordering again soon!
Saving time with Viva Raw!
I use to spend about 4+ hours a month meal prepping for my girl. No more! Viva gets sent right to my door. I save so much time not having to worry about if I’m fulfilling any nutritional gaps, and I can tell my dog truly loves it. I was a bit nervous getting her on new food (my dog is SOO sensitive) but no, she transitioned without a flaw.
We're proud to be sourcing high quality, USDA-inspected meat from smaller farms. These are the same farms that stock your local Whole Foods & favorite restaurants. We only work with farms that never administer hormones & growth promoting antibiotics (a huge step up from conventional) & are certified humane through third-party audits like G.A.P. or the American Humane Program. By not relying on chemicals, our farmers focus on providing high quality food and a clean environment to raise healthy, happy animals.
We grind, mix & package all of your pup's meals in our kitchens—where we are the first and only pet food made in our facility that also produces human food. And you better believe we’re proud of it. Everything is made in small batches (each package is hand-labeled & checked for quality) and tested for pathogens, because your pup deserves the freshest food from farm-to-bowl.
Feeding amounts are based on your dog's weight, age, and activity level. We recommend checking outto determine your pet's personalized feeding recommendations using Viva—we worked closely with our nutritionists & used the latest research to develop these!
On average, our food will cost $6-7 / day for a 30lb dog if you are feeding a variety of our proteins. To determine your exact costs, we recommend filling out ourfor your pup.
Nope! Just thaw and feed 🙌
Our food is Complete & Balanced for adult dogs. We worked with multiple vets & nutritionists to develop these recipes over the course of an entire year & lab-tested over 50 unique whole food ingredients in the process. This rigorous process at Viva is to ensure that our meals not only meet minimum nutrient requirements, but go above and beyond to improve the overall health of your pup with superfoods like shiitake mushrooms or mussels.
If you're feeding a puppy (< 1 year old), check out our Complete for Puppies instead for optimized nutrition during the growth stage! You can always reach out to our Nutrition Experts with additional questions.
If you're new to our food or have a picky eater, then we recommend getting Ground since it will be easier to to mix and portion. If you're comfortably feeding Viva, then we encourage trying the Chunked! Chunk sizes are 1-2 inches in size and are a great choice if your pet prefers more texture, for hand-feeding, or even if you're just curious what's in your pet's food! We've had pets of all sizes, including cats & ferrets do great on our chunky blend 💜
